MEET ALEXA

A woman with blonde hair and glasses on her head, wearing a cream-colored blouse, sits at a table with art supplies. She is holding a pen and appears to be sketching. Behind her are paintings of women and men riding horses, displayed on the wall and leaning on easels, with art tools and sketches visible on the table and wall.

Alexa Weston is a self-taught artist and illustrator creating whimsical work rooted in colour and play. Inspired by nostalgia and everyday moments, her work brings a sense of warmth, character and joy.

Her approach to illustration has been shaped by a long-standing love of artists such as Ludwig Bemelmans and Quentin Blake, who bring scenes to life through their ability to capture character, humour and the small details of everyday life. It’s this sense of movement and observation that continues to influence the way she draws today.

With a background in teaching and working within the interior design industry, Alexa brings a natural sense of storytelling to her work, creating pieces that feel considered and unique to each project.

What began as a creative outlet has grown into a working studio, now collaborating with brands on product-based artwork, licensing and creative projects - each piece rooted in a sense of playfulness and charm.
